This Privacy Policy describes how BigRigLawyer.co ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use this website.
Information we collect
- Information you submit: when you complete the case review form we collect your name, phone number, email address, state, and the accident details you choose to provide.
- Automatically collected information: standard log and analytics data such as IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs.
- Approximate location: our hosting provider derives an approximate city and state from your IP address so the site can show the filing deadline and service area relevant to you. We receive only that city and state — we do not read, log, or store your IP address for this purpose, and the result is kept in your browser for the current session only. It is not used to identify you and is not shared unless you submit the case review form, in which case the state you selected is included with your request.
How we use and share information
- To match your case review request with one or more participating attorneys or law firms serving your state, with whom your submitted information will be shared for the purpose of evaluating and responding to your inquiry.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing.
Communications consent
By submitting the form with the consent box checked, you agree to be contacted by phone, SMS/text, and email — including via automated technology — regarding your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may opt out of texts by replying STOP and of emails via the unsubscribe link.
Texts are sent through the TortOS case-update program, operated by DGY LLC for Big Rig Lawyer and its participating attorneys. The messages are transactional: case updates and a secure link to your own case portal. They are not marketing. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of using the Site or of being referred to an attorney.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive texts, with any third party for their own marketing. SMS opt-in data is used only to operate this program.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply START to begin receiving them again. Reply HELP for help, or email the program operator at legal@accident.live.
Data retention & security
We retain submitted information as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, and we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect it. No internet transmission is 100% secure.
